XY GT Falcon Replica

SOLD  $POA

The plan was for the two Sweeney brothers, Tim and Neil, to build a GT Falcon Replica together. But on April 24th 2017 Neil's life changed forever. He stopped breathing and was rushed to hospital where a CT scan and MRI revealed a significant brain tumour. He has since undergone 3 brain surgeries, over 30 radiation treatments and ongoing monthly chemotherapy. Its been tough on the whole Sweeney family; Neil, Tim and Neil's wife Shelley and two children Cayla (12) and Blake (10). Unfortunately in January this year another MRI showed a new tumour. This tumour is a GBM, the most aggressive and worst brain cancer you can be diagnosed with. There is no cure, only ongoing treatment. Neil's new treatment began on the 15th March. This treatment is very expensive - the three-weekly infusion costs $5000 per infusion and will need to continue for at least 2 years.

AMCS would like to support this amazing family and hopes there is someone keen to take on this XY GT Replica Project right now. The monies will go straight to assist in Neil's treatment. The family have also set up a Go Fund Me account. If you would like to help out a fellow muscle car enthusiast all contributions are greatly appreciated. Details are below.

If you are interested in a XY GT Replica project, the car is a 1971 XY Falcon 500 running a 302 Cleveland V8, 4 speed top loader and 9" diff. It has a genuine XW GT dash, console, XW rear seat and is a good solid rust free body. Ipswich, QLD car. (Ref. 4932)

Terms of sale

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
