VC HDT Commodore (ROC #11) SOLD

A special VC Brock Commodore. One of the 11 cars used in the 1980 two race series Race of Champions (ROC) and driven by Sir Jack Brabham. Includes original half roll cage and fire system used for ROC.

The car is a VC HDT (ROC) it is number 11 of 11 built by Peter Brock for Sir

Jack Brabham to drive in a two race series at the 1980 Australian Formula 1

Grand Prix, the series was called the Race Of Champions (ROC). These cars

varied to the regular 500 production line models in that they were fitted

with a roll cage and the steering wheel was hand engraved by Peter Brock

personally (the production cars had there wheels stenciled, the ROC cars

also had there number inside the glovebox).

There were only two Firethorn red cars in the event.

The number 11 car is still in original condition as they were raced in full

road trim it has never been modified and still has all original features

such as the radio and speakers the interior trim is in very good condition,

the car runs well and is driven approx 100k once each fortnight.
