As Good as it gets! THE Black P3 restored!
This past weekend saw the unveiling of a freshly restored one off Black XY GTHO Falcon. The owner, restorer and a group of friends got together to admire this beauty over a couple of beers! The restored car is nothing short of stunning!
Back in October 2006, Eric contacted us at AMCS with a view to investing in something unique. A long time GT fan and owner, he wanted something special. At the time we were in discussions with the previous owner of this most special car, about potentially selling it on. The two were put together...and the rest as they say, is history! At the time the sale of this vehicle was a record and was really responsible for the frenzied buying seen in the marketplace beyond it's $400,000 exchange. Eric appreciated what he had and decided early on to restore this Aussie classic. Well.. four years later, many grey hairs and sleepless nights, his dream has been realised! The car is a credit to Eric and his perserverance. Credit must also go to Frank Portelli who undertook the restoration of this classic motor vehicle. Many nervous moments and strategising around a tinny or twelve! Well done boys..and from us at AMCS congratulations on the preservation of another unique part of our nations motoring history!!
