2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 6.4L V8
Road and Track magazine called the Chrysler 300 SRT 6.4L V8 a "Brute in a suit".
And boy does this baby want to go! With 470 horsepower on tap there's enough thrust here to challenge any HSV GTS or FPV GT at a traffic light drag race delivering spanking performance times of 0–60 in just 4.5 seconds. And yet with a flick of a touchscreen button, the standard ADS (Adaptive Damping Suspension) Bilstein shock absorbers can transform the SRT8 ride quality from decently snubbed to feel-every-crack taut. The potent 6.4-litre Hemi V-8 can also switch between 4- and 8-cylinder operation, resulting in considerably better highway cruising fuel efficiency.
The interior of the Chrysler 300 is super impressive. It starts at the seats, which are firm and well-bolstered and complimented by real carbon-fiber trim. Super cool blue lit gauges show you just how quickly you got from zero to naughty. Heated and cooled seats are standard, along with heated rears, as is the 8.4-in. touchscreen that does more than provide access to your digital music and Garmin navigation. A collection of digital gauges can be displayed in real time as well, much like the Nissan GT-R's, but in a more classical "round gauge" style.
The optional Harman-Kardon audio system is expensive, but the quality is superb and according to motoring testers, one of the best audio systems available featuring the first 32-volt production system, meaning it's more efficient so as not to produce sound-distorting heat in the 18 speakers and subwoofer.
AMCS presents for sale a stunning ONE OWNER SRT 6.4 Litre V8 Chrysler 300 in Bright White with black suede and leather trim fully loaded with optional panoramic sunroof, Brembo brake upgrade, Harman-Kardon audio system, black chromed grill and black chrome rims. The car presents in as new condition with no marks and not even a scuff mark under the front bumper. The car has covered a genuine 63,398 kilometres with service receipts, log books and all owners manuals. The owner is super fussy and has also had a custom made dash pad cover made by Sydney Motor Trimming to protect the crash pad. The car was recently serviced by Tynan Motors, Kirrawee, NSW.
This SRT8 is totally stock standard and unmolested with everything as specified by the factory including replacement factory spec tyres. The car has NSW registration through until end of September, 2021.
The 300 is subtle in it's aggression. Like a front row forward in an expensive David Jones suit. It may lack the GTs stripes and HSVs air vents and winglets but while it may appear more subtle at first appearance, plant your right foot and you'll see the real SRT8.
If you'd like to sample the SRT8, its available for inspection in our NEW Mortdale, Sydney showroom. (AMCS Ref. 5706)
And if you like AMCS will gladly arrange a video inspection/road test of the car using WhatsApp and of course there is no issue with door to door freight delivery anywhere in Australia or New Zealand.
