Thanks to the Victory of the XC Falcon Hardtops at the 1977 Bathurst 1000 race and Edsel Ford II marketing ingenuity, 1978 saw the release of a limited-edition of 400 Cobra XC's with the iconic White with Blue Stripes. Thirty years later, to celebrate the Falcon's 1st, 2nd and 3rd place domination of the 2007 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000, FPV quite fittingly released the limited edition BFII R Spec Falcon GT Cobra.
For sale is Build No.79 of the 400 limited edition Cobras.
With only 13,269 klms from new, this stunning FPV BFII Falcon GT Cobra features the factory Boss 302kW 5.4L quad cam V8, 6 speed Manual, Brembo Brakes and R-Spec suspension. Build No. 79 is presented in absolutely impeccable condition throughout. The Cobra comes with all FPV documentation including the FPV Compendium, log books and owners manuals plus original FPV authenticity certificate, the Cobra GT new car brochure.
And to add to the desirability of this stunning Cobra GT, the engine cowling has been signed by Mark Winterbottom & Will Davison who both raced in the super successful 2007 Bathurst 1000 in a BF Falcon. Ordered by the original owner new from McGrath Ford, Canberra and delivered in October, 2007, this Cobra was optioned with the Window Tint package. The GT Cobra is fitted with a stainless steel Cat Back exhaust system (the original exhaust is supplied in bubble wrap with the car)
This GT Cobra comes with all FPV documentation including the FPV Compendium, log books and owners manuals, FPV authenticity certificate plus the Cobra GT new car brochure.
The GT still features the original tyres, spare tyre and immaculate boot. The car also comes with a Cobra Car Bra.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
