2007 FPV BF MK II F6 Typhoon #293 ... (SOLD)

Australian motoring enthusiasts were frankly blindsided by Ford's introduction of the F6 Typhoon. In fact, not since the Bathurst bred R/T E49 Valiant Charger had Australia seen anything like this power from a humble six cylinder.

Overnight, the turbocharged version of the ‘Barra’ 3984cc DOHC, 24-valve straight-six put Ford's XR8 in the shade. With 270kW and 550Nm of torque, the F6 Typhoon could whip the best of the Aussie V8s, both on the straights and when carving through the corners.

For sale is an unmarked example of FPV's BF MKII F6 Typhoon in rare Ego Mica with black leather F6 trim equipped with the sensational 6 speed ZF automatic gearbox. Purchased new in September 2007 from Sinclair Ford in Penrith, NSW the F6 has been a corporate executive's daily driver and has always been garaged and fastidiously serviced. The F6 is presented in original unmarked condition throughout. The Ego paint is in amazing condition with no stone chips, dents or marks. Even the underside of the front bar has been protected from new with alloy scuff plates. The interior is also in beautiful condition with no apparent wear and tear. All gauges and accessories are in perfect working order except for the LHS front electric window switch.

Performance has been enhanced by well known turbo tuner Croydon Racing Developments in Sydney with the replacement of the factory turbo with a Garrett GT3576R turbo, the fitment of a COBB access tuning port and a custom turbo back APC exhaust system and an upgrade to Bilstein shock absorbers. The result - power is up from 270kW to a dynoed 320kW!

Certainly enough power to compromise those near new Toyo Proxes Sport tyres. And let's not forget that wonderful turbo sound track, all part of the F6 jet fighter experience.

F6 Build No. 293 is supplied with the original FPV folder, owners log books and owners manual, a full service history and two sets of keys with fobs. The F6 has covered a genuine 154,522 km from new.

This F6 represents great value for money and a rare opportunity to purchase a fine example of the FPV F6 Typhoon.
