2006 HSV VZ Coupe GTO Build No 659 - Yellow Devil …
Now for sale a TWO OWNER 2006 VZ HSV GTO Coupe in Yellow Devil with Black leather trim with only 33,554 Klms on the clock located in Wollongong, NSW.
Its fair to say that Aussie motoring fans lost their biscuit when Holden pulled the covers off the top-secret Commodore Coupe concept back in 1998. It was a moment that led to the return of one of the most iconic names in our automotive history - The Holden Monaro.
But when Holden Special Vehicles – the hot rod arm of Holden – released its high-performance variants in 2001, there wasn’t a Monaro badge to be seen. Due to trademark conflicts between the two entities, the HSV two-doors were referred to as HSV Coupes, available in either GTO or GTS spec.
The naming issue didn’t blunt their popularity. The original Aussie muscle cars of the 1960s and 70s were still fresh in car enthusiasts minds and now older and wealthier, the buyers wanted a fast, brightly-coloured V8 machine of their own.
Now, 20 years since they hit the car scene, Aussie Muscle Car Enthusiasts are paying close attention to low mileage examples of these special HSV Coupes.
For sale is a genuine two owner 2006 VZ HSV GTO Coupe with only 33,554 KILOMETRES FROM NEW! Purchased by the current owner in 2008 with around 8,000 Kilometres on the clock, the HSV GTO Coupe had been the Gateway Holden dealer managers personal drive car and was purchased by the current owner as a demo. In standout Yellow Devil with Black leather trim, Build No. 659 features the factory 6.0 litre LS2 V8 and 4 speed auto transmission. The original Blaupunkt factory installed stereo is included and can be easily refitted if required.
Mechanically, the GTO Coupe is factory stock and still features the original exhaust system all the way to the tips.
