In late 2005 Ford Performance Vehicles gave the new BF GT model increased visual presence to differentiate the Boss 290 V8-powered GT Falcon and F6 270 Turbo-powered vehicles from the earlier BA model. New-look front bumpers on all models featured an aggressive race-inspired lip surrounding the larger lower air intake, replicated in a similar fashion surrounding a new-look opening in the rear bumpers and stylish new-design auxiliary driving lights up front. To complement the new styling all Boss 290-powered vehicles received 19-inch alloy wheels and a new traditional muscle car-inspired twin exhaust system.
For sale is an excellent example of the FPV BF Mk I GT Falcon in Lightning Strike Silver optioned with the desirable 6 speed Tremec T56 manual gearbox.
An immaculate vehicle with only one owner from new. Featuring the awesome 5.4 litre all aluminium quad cam V8 the Boss 290 delivers 290kW of power at 5500rpm and 520Nm of torque at 4500rpm.
Delivered originally through City Ford, Sydney, this car comes with all Log books, manuals and full service history. Owned by an elderly Falcon GT enthusiast the car is spotless, perfectly maintained and drives and performs as new. Only being sold as he can sadly no longer manage the clutch for the manual transmission.
The car is absolutely rust and accident free with only a touch up of the front and rear skirts. The owner ensured oil changes religiously every 5,000 km and upgraded the car with Bilstein shocks all around and headlights with high and low beam LED bulbs and a dashcam.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
