Not an Australian Muscle Car but a nice German muscle car here in Australia. And what a bargain! For 2005, AMG shoe horned a hell of a lot of technology into this nearly $250,000 new car.
Balistic weapon style power came from the hand built 5.5L V8 SOHC 24 valves Supercharged V8 good for 469 HP @ 6100 rpm and 700nm of torque. This was fed through to a 5 speed automatic transmission with manual mode and paddle shifts on the steering wheel.
Filled with performance, luxury and safety features 5-10 years before their time this represented the very pinnacle of Mercedes engineering and still stacks up today.
This particular two owner E55 is in unmarked condition throughout and has covered only 110,000 genuine kilometres from new with full dealer service history from Andrew Miedecke Mercedes of the Central Coast, NSW.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
