2000 WH HSV Grange
It's more than 20 years since Holden Special Vehicles invented the long-wheelbase Statesman Caprice based Grange. As it's name suggests, the Grange is all about the best of everything. And with the HSV touch applied, you got a car with the lot that could also boogie.
The Grange concept was introduced in the mid-'90s with the VS model, but the post-July 1999 versions saw things get pretty interesting with the move by HSV to the imported LS1 Chevrolet V8.
Power jumped from 215 kW from the stroker 5.7-litre version of the Aussie V8 to a full-blooded 250 kW from the first incarnation of the Chevy engine.
Even today a 250 kW HSV Grange feels pretty potent. Those ponies are mated to a four-speed automatic gearbox and the Grange benefited from HSV’s ‘Prestige tune’ with bespoke Monroe Sensatrac shocks, Independent Rear Suspension, front and rear anti-roll bars, uprated brakes and more. On top of this the Grange features loads of tech including four airbags, anti-lock braking, auto climate control with dual zones, traction control and a pretty cool 6 stacker CD sound system with 6 speakers.
AMCS is proud to offer for sale a stunning Amazon Pearl Blue with Taupe leather trim HSV Grange. Build Number 219 is an excellent unmodified unrestored example of HSV's flagship model. This luxurious cruiser has covered a genuine 90,092 kilometres from new and comes with full log books.
This is an immaculate accident free car with perfect panel and paint, a spotless interior which looks as if the back seats have hardly ever been used and with only slight wear to the driver's seat as can be expected from a 20 year old vehicle. The fastidious owner has also sourced a spare radio/CD player should it be required in the future. This is certainly a standout example of the HSV marque. A car that you could easily use as a luxurious daily driver or a great addition to the HSV collection as a reminder of the quality cars we used to design and build in this country.
In our Kingsgrove, Sydney showroom for your immediate inspection. And if you are unable to travel due to Covid restrictions, AMCS will gladly arrange a video inspection/road test of the car using WhatsApp, and of course there is no issue with door to door freight delivery anywhere in Australia or New Zealand. Terms of sale
Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
