This stunning 5 speed manual HSV Clubsport is presented in totally original Rubens Red Mica with Black leather trim and has travelled a genuine log booked 223,410 country kilometres from new.

Powered by the last of the Aussie Holden V8 engines, the Clubsport got more mumbo versus the base SS Commodore with the 5.0 L V90 pushrod engine delivering 195 kW @ 5000rpm and 430 Nm of torque. This Clubsport was spec'd from the factory with the sought after 5 speed Borg Warner gearbox and the HSV Clubsport inclusions of standard CD player, HSV sports steering wheel, HSV leather sports front seats and fog lights. All Clubsports also benefited from a stainless steel exhaust, Independent rear suspension (IRS) and 4 wheel power disc brakes with ABS.

Delivered new by Colin Watson Holden in Traralgon, Country Victoria the car has been beautifully looked after and is totally unmolested and presented in as per factory specifications. The interior is factory and features the optional black leather trim which was a rare option for a Clubsport. The current owner has recently changed the clutch and the HSV has been recently fully serviced.

1,505 Clubsport sedans were built between 1997 and 1998, 557 manual and 948 automatic. Clubsport # 1495 comes with the original log books and manuals, the original HSV gift items in the centre consul, the original spare tyre and tools.

This is a totally stock standard and is a great example of the popular HSV Clubsport model. Riding on brand new Nexen 245/45ZR17 tyres on unmarked factory alloys.
