1994 HSV VR GTS Commodore - GTS-R Tribute
Take a genuine '94 VR GTS Commodore Build No.148 with the factory matching numbers 215kW 5.7L Holden stroker engine, the Tremec T56 6 speed gearbox and Hydratrak rear end, paint it in XU-3 Yellah, add genuine GTS-R carbon fibre accents to the body kit and the huge Group A racing rear wing. Add the impossible to find full GTS-R trim including genuine steering wheel and gear knob with yellow stitching, GTS-R seats and door cards. Add on the special GTS-R badging, even the High output 230Kw HSV Optimised stickers and the genuine GTS-R rims ... and you've got the best tribute GTS-R we have ever seen come to the market.
The GTS-R is a near impossible car to replicate as the original build by HSV only required 85 sets of all items that went to build this very special HSV Commodore. So trying to source these items required to build this car are as rare a you guessed it. And with the values of genuine unmolested examples pushing high into the late $100,000 this is a great way to have the enjoyment of a GTS-R without the overheads.
So Build No. 15 makes a lot of sense. First of all you've got a genuine and rare 101,000 km VR GTS forming the basis of the build. Then you've got it loaded with genuine GTS-R parts that are near impossible to find. And to top it off, you've got a terrific car that looks and sounds the part, has ice cold air conditioning and will turn heads where ever you go. And best of all it won't break the bank to do all this and more. This is a car that you can and will enjoy. So go on come and have a look. Because we know you "Just Want One!" In our Kingsgrove, Sydney showroom. (Ref: 5425)
