1986 VL Commodore SL 4.9L Police Car - BT1

1986 VL Commodore SL BT1 Pack in Alpine white with sandalwood trim. All matching numbers LV2 4.9L V8, 3 speed Trimatic gearbox and LSD. Originally used as a Highway Patrol car as per the log books showing the original owner as the Commissioner of Police, East Perth from very late 1986. The current owner purchased the car from the long term owner who purchased the car from the Police auctions in 1987.

Lovingly maintained with the interior in immaculate condition having been covered all its life. Door trims, carpets, roof lining, console etc all original. The exterior is in excellent original condition with no damage and only minor surface rust in the boot floor and under rear window. The engine has been maintained with a cam fitted in 1992, extractors and standard 2 1/2" exhaust.

All original Police rims with new tyres 1,000 klms ago. Covered a genuine 286,000 klms from new with log books and service history until 85,000 with receipts since then included in the sale. Factory working A/C but no P/S fitted. Build sheet in excellent condition found under the carpet. Has holes in the dash where the scanner and the radar gun were once fitted and two on the dash fascia for the CB radio.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
