Immaculate original Lincoln Continental Town Coupe. The last of the big ones! Like its Continental Mark V twin, these were Ford's ultimate luxury statement and 1979 brought to an end the largest, longest cars ever made by the Ford Motor Company. Although only on sale for three model years '77-'79, the Continental Mark V series was the best-selling version ever of the Lincoln Mark Series, with a total of 228,262 examples sold.
This car is mint original and in impeccable condition. From the twenty Lincoln colours available in 1979 this car was produced in Classic White with sumptuous Dark Red Leather interior and signature partial padded vinyl roof. The paint is completely original, the car has seen no paint or repairs of any kind. The condition and quality of the interior, seats, door trims, dash, wheel and carpets is amazing and literally as new. And with the front bench armrests folded up this car has the seatbelts in place to comfortably carry the chauffeur and five passengers.
Running it's original 6.6 litre 400ci Cleveland V8, the only engine choice in '79, it carries all the expected features including 3 speed column Cruisomatic trans, factory A/C and power steer, pop-up headlights lights, power windows and locks, tilt wheel, power seats, power antenna, tinted glass, steering mounted cruise, decor interior lights, intermittent wipers, and Cartier clock.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
