The ultimate SURVIVOR. A totally original unrestored 1978 Toyota Corolla CS 1200 and 4 speed manual in Turquoise with only 54,463 Kilometres on the clock. For sale from our Sydney Showroom.

Manufactured in Australia at AMI-Toyota's Port Melbourne, the Toyota Corolla KE30 was one of the most popular small cars on the Australian market. Originally released in the SE trim, the luxury CS model was released in February 1976 and featured carpeting, a clock and reclining cloth seats. In the days of the OPEC oil crisis the little 1,166 cc 3K-C engine delivered amazing economy and Toyota offered the trusty Toyoglide 3-speed automatic, a 4 speed or 5 speed manual gearbox.

Originally sold through Mc Carron Motors P/L in Orange, NSW to a Mr and Mrs. F & E Harvey, this Corolla was delivered on the 25th of October 1978 and had its first service on the 13th of February 1979 with 1,040 Klms on the clock. All subsequent services were then carried out at regular intervals by G + H Harvey Mechanical Repairs in Orange with the last service in 2021 with just 53,000 Klms on the clock. The Corolla remains in totally original maintained condition except for a replacement battery, exhaust system and new tyres.

A testament to the care of all original owners, the Toyota presents as a new car with immaculate original Turquoise paint, perfect stainless and chrome, glass and headlight and taillight lenses. On the inside, the Corolla show nil wear with the original cloth seats in perfect condition, door cards, original crashpad, steering wheel, hoodling, carpets and gauges all still in place and the original factory radio, cassette player and parcel shelf speakers still installed and operational. The car is also supplied with a front visor currently not fitted.

The engine bay is pristine with all original stickers still in place and everything is in perfect working condition. Similarly, the boot is immaculate with all original boot insulation, spare tyre and wheel and factory tools.

Documentation includes the dealer folder, log books and service details, owners manual, new car brochure and a set of original keys. There is also a hand written note outlining the ownership history and confirming the mileage of the unique Toyota.

Riding on the original 13" steel rims with mint caps and trims and excellent near new BF Goodridge tyres.

A true time warp museum quality Toyota and the perfect example to highlight the importance of the Toyota brand to the Australian motoring public throughout the past 50 years.
