1978 HZ Holden Premier 5.0L V8 (SOLD)

When have you ever seen a factory 5 litre V8 and 4 speed manual HZ Premier! Well you're looking at one now! And what a beauty this one is. For sale is this genuine Carribean Turquoise 1978 HZ Premier factory optioned with the 308 V8 and super rare M21 4 speed manual gearbox. The car also has factory rear disc brakes, power steering and Corniche cloth seats, along with the standard Premier equipment.

The current owner has restored this special HZ Prem over the last last 3 years (Photo file can be provided on request). The car has been professionally bare metal repainted in 2 pack in the original Carribean Turquoise to showroom specifications and the interior has been totally retrimmed to original factory specifications.The original stainless trims, mouldings and emblems have been reinstalled and are in very good condition for their age. The factory A/C has been re-installed and is ready for re-connection although these were average units at the best of times, so owner sourced a late model compressor which comes with the car ready for fitting.

The car has heavy duty springs and shock absorbers all round and the brakes, suspension and steering have all been reconditioned or renewed as necessary.

The car sits on original 6" rims with standard Premier dress trims and new tyres all round. The 308 engine is period correct and runs well with no leaks or smoke. The M21 gearbox is in excellent condition and connects to a new flywheel, clutch and pressure plate. The diff has no noises and has 3.08 ratio gears for improved fuel economy.
