1977 LX Torana Hatchback A9X Replica
Concourse recreation to an original 1977 Torana SL, 202 4 speed. Now a super high end A9X Tribute spec.
A true 10/10 restoration. No monies spared here to build a truly unique and tuff Tory. Running a balanced 400 crank HP scat 355 with a Comtech Hydraulic Roller Cam, Aluminium VN heads with roller rockers, SP Pistons, I Beam connecting rods, Hi Rise intake and Demon 850 carburetor, MSD pro-billet ignition, high volume oil and fuel pump and high energy sump, rewired with new engine, headlight and taillight looms, GMP&A copy A9x cold air box.
Transmission is a TH350 with a 3500 stall on tuff mounts oil cooler and high volume pan with a 3.5 inch Chrome Molly Hardie Spicer tailshaft. Diff is a shortened 9 inch with a Eaton True Track centre with 31 spline billet axles. Brakes are front HX ventilated discs with A9X big booster and master and rear brakes are VS discs. Wheels are 17” x 10’s rear and 8” front Alloy Hot Wires on redwalled rubber. Suspension is K-Mac sway bars, King springs and Gabrielle shocks.
All new brake, fuel, transmission and hand brake lines. Tank is a 120L Brown Davis drop tank.
Paint is Cotillion White with Satin clear coat A9x black-outs. Trim is all new including seats, hood lining, carpets, inner trims, seat belts and restored plastics with GTS steering wheel and A9X yellow needle dash.
Body is fully seam welded with A9X flares, dyna-matted underlay and detailed undercarriage. Exhaust is 2.5" full stainless with 316 stainless rears. All zinc trimming and chrome work re-plated. Rear venetian blind and factory LX jack and bag.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
