1976 LX SS Torana Hatchback 308 V8 ... (SOLD)

Stunning genuine LX SS Torana Hatchback in original combination of Royal Plum with Chamois trim. Factory 253 manual car, now running a Geoff Hayes 450hp 355 stroker, 4bbl Quadrajet Rochester, high comp pistons, big valves, roller rockers, Scat crank, L34 extractors with M21 4 speed gearbox and standard Salisbury diff. The car has a 2 1/2" cadmium plated exhaust front to rear.

Rotisserie bare metal restoration just finished with 100 kilometres since completion. The body was rust free and the restoration included the fitment of A9X style wheel arch flares, bonnet scoop, fibreglass front and rear spoilers plus all new badges, black outs and a custom aluminium drop tank.

The interior has been redone from hood lining to carpet, door cards, visors etc. The dash and steering wheel are original with recalibrated gauges and the Torana comes with a hard to find as new original Hatch hutch.

The SS has all new bushes, tie rods, ball joints and new suspension and rides on new Maxxis 265/50/15 on 10" Hotwires on the rear and 225/50/15 on 8" Hotwires on the front.

Current owner since 2017. Comes with a Holden Historical Services authenticity report confirming the original order details for the car and the selling dealership as Tweed Motors, NSW.
