1973 LJ Torana GTR XU1
Genuine 1973 LJ Torana GTR XU1 in stunning Cyan Blue with custom black and blue leather trim. Fitted with a 300hp strong 202 red engine with factory triple Weber carburettors, sports exhaust, 17 gallon fuel tank, Globe Sprint Master alloy wheels, GTR sports steering wheel, full GTR XU1 instrumentation and front air dam and rear spoiler.
The car also comes with a May 1972 JP engine that has been built by a well known engine builder from Wangaratta and features a 12 port head, standard bore, steel crank, Starfire rods, forged flat top pistons, Waggot solid cam, solid lifters, Repco alloy timing gears, 1 3/4" intake valves, standard exhaust valves, Pacemaker extractors, 45mm DCOE Webers bored to 48mm, pushrod guides and Yella Terra Roller Rockers.
This particular XU1 was built in Adelaide in May 1973 and was originally sold through Sidney Atkinson Holden in Perth to a farmer in South Western, WA. A full history of the car with all owner details is available and the current owner has been the car's custodian since 2014.
The interior is all genuine XU1 with excellent dash, steering wheel, working gauges, Clarion radio and custom leather black and blue seat coverings to the genuine factory LJ XU1 seats.
Comes with a heap of spares including the original radiator, original 6" CSA wheels, 2 x 7" Classics with tyres, original spare wheel and jack.
This is a lovely genuine well sorted and reliable XU1 that can be driven anywhere and turns heads where ever it goes. Located in Geelong, VIC and comes with the custom VIC number plates 300 XUI as well as the Western Australian number plates XUI202 signed by Peter Brock. (Ref. 5259)

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
