Original Yellow Mustard car, now fully restored to GTR XU-1 specifications with in excess of $100,000 spent. Stunning nut and bolt restoration completed in 2019 that goes way deeper than what you can see.
Running a period correct 202, rebuilt, blue printed and balanced to XU-1 race specifications including genuine XU-1 Bathurst Triple CD 175 Stromberg carburettors and an XU-1 intake. Running through to a fully rebuilt M20 Aussie 4 speed gearbox and LSD Banjo diff 3.36 ratio.
The brakes are standard GTR all round with discs on the front and drums on the rear and there is a genuine Bathurst XU-1 fuel tank in the boot. The exhaust is full stainless front to back and the Pacemaker extractors have been ceramic coated in high temp black paint so as to look stock.
Inside, the car has been fully re-trimmed with nothing left untouched including a meticulous rebuild to the dash and re calibration to all the gauges and repainting of all the needles in the factory specified red paint.
The steering column has been refurbished with new bearings, the indicator switch assembly and steering wheel have been refurbished, as have the window winders. The wiring loom has been restored front to back, the heater core has been replaced and basically everything has been restored or replaced.
You can see where all the time and effort has gone into this restoration delivering an as brand new LJ GTR Torana for the enthusiast. Here is a golden opportunity to lay your hands on a restored Torana at less than the price of the restoration.
Originally an Adelaide built car, this LJ stunner has covered an indicated 41,371 km with approximately 2,000 km since the ground up restoration. The LJ is also supplied with NOS owners manual, LC and LJ Shop Manuals and also a copy of Fiv Antoniou's history of the Torana XU-1.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
