Stunning XB GT Falcon in Mulberry with White trim and dealer fitted black cloth inserts. Heavily factory optioned with wind-back sunroof, power steering, air conditioning, power windows, radio/tape player, sports road wheels and T-Bar FMX auto. Does it get any better?

We think NOT! This 1973 XB GT ticks all the boxes. Literally. Every option was factory fitted to this special dream machine. In stunning condition, this XB GT was originally sold through Sinclair Ford, Penrith and is one of 54 in this paint and trim combo and one of only 7 with the same build specification.

In the care of the current owner since October, 1999. The owner had the car professionally bare metal restored in 2007. The restoration dragged on and the GT was finally back on the road in February, 2011.

The original engine and gear box have been rebuilt recently. The matching numbers 351 2V Cleveland has been stroked to 393ci with Oliver Race Rods, CP Bullet pistons, Scat 393 crank, Lunati hydraulic flat tappet cam, Yella Terra roller rockers, 750DP Holley, electronic dizzy, MSD Streetfighter ignition box, and Pacemaker 4 into 2 extractors. The gearbox is the factory FMX with Stage 2 shift kit, 2500 stall and then through to a custom heavy duty tailshaft with billet yoke and a stock 9" LSD with 3.25:1 gear ratio.

The interior is mostly original and was retrimmed in 2000 with new Black cloth inserts which was how the car was purchased in the 1990s. The original steering wheel is still in place with a new horn rubber. All the gauges have been rebuilt, the A/C components from the pulleys, Motorcraft compressor, belts, nuts and bolts are all there but not fitted, the original radio/cassette is gone and replaced with a CD player, door cards, carpet, underlay and hoodlining are all new in 2011.

Riding on 15" Challenger Performance wheels with Yokohama rubber. In the boot there is a spare and good boot carpet.

When purchased in 1999, the GT was showing 31,000 miles on the odometer. It is now showing just 49,158 miles. The XB GT comes with an ACCHS report, a FORD letter of verification, Dyno sheet and 23 years of happy motoring memories.
