1973 Ford Falcon XA GT RPO 83 ... (SOLD)

Now this is a rare car! August 1973 built XA GT Falcon with the legendary Regular Production Option (RPO) 083. One of only 250 RPO 83s produced (1 of only 130 sedans), all in that 8/73 month and all 4 speed Top Loader manuals.

This is the car Ford quietly built more than a year after the GTHO Phase IV programme was cancelled in June 1972, to assign and use up many of the special HO components that had sat without a production vehicle to go into.

Virtually unknown at the time they were produced, these cars have become one of the most collectible of all Falcon GTs, and this example is stunning in Ultra White with B2 Black with cloth trim. Its options include the Black vinyl roof (in excellent condition), radio with eight-track, black bonnet and rare tinted glass all round.
