This beautiful custom HQ One Tonner was restored just over 20 years ago, with an engine rebuild upgrading it to a 350 Chev, with a rebored block and polished crank carried out during the restoration. 30/70 Crow Cam (hydraulic), extractors and twin 2 and half inch exhaust now help to continue powering this beautiful, now 50 year old, custom classic beauty of a ute. Sporting an HX front end this custom yellow ute is a real eye-catcher.

Throughout the 1970s, and now well beyond the One Tonne Holden utilities (aka ‘The One Tonner’ or 'The Tonner') were king of Australia’s commercial vehicle world. Today, whether as a collectable, a workhorse or a toy they remain loved the world over and are instantly recognisable. Organise time to see this restored HQ Ute. An interior re-trim of the seats would further enhance this HQ and further compliment the serious 8 cylinder power underneath to match.

A 4-speed Top Loader and Indy Hurst shifter help get the power out of this original and tastefully modified classic HQ. A 9 inch diff with 3.5:1 gear ratio, Limited Slip Differential and 31 spline axles (rated to a huge 8000+ nm of torque) allow this beauty to get up and go, or to carry a load like she would've done when she was first born and came off the factory production line over 50 years ago!

Now with 278,170km on the clock the restoration from '96 has helped ensure the longevity of enjoyment for this custom classic. This clean and tidy presented ute comes with brand new Convo Pro wheels (15x4in front and 15x10in rear) along with all new tyres (rears 275/60/15).
