What a Stunner!! For sale is a genuine rotisserie restored Zodiac Blue Metallic 1972 LJ GTR Torana. Stunning bare metal nut and bolt restoration completed in 2020. On display in our Sydney Showroom. 

Bare metal rotisserie restoration in 2 Pack Zodiac Blue with all new Flax interior. Running the fully rebuilt factory matching numbers 3300 engine rebuilt in 2020 then through the fully rebuilt original M20 Aussie 4 speed gearbox and LSD Banjo diff 3.36 ratio.

The braking system has been fully reconditioned with new lines, valves, rotors and discs. The exhaust is standard GTR with XU-1 tail pipes. 

Inside, the car has been fully re-trimmed with nothing left untouched including a meticulous rebuild to the dash and re calibration to all the gauges. The steering column has been refurbished with new bearings, the indicator switch assembly and steering wheel have been refurbished, as have the window winders, the wiring loom has been restored front to back, the heater core has been replaced and basically everything has been restored or replaced.

You can see where all the time and effort has gone into this A grade restoration delivering an as brand new LJ GTR Torana for the enthusiast. Here is a golden opportunity to lay your hands on a concours restored Torana at less than the price of the restoration. Originally sold through John A. Gilbert P/L in Camperdown, NSW, to the original owner from Campelltown, NSW, the car stayed in the one family until purchased by the current owner eight years ago. This LJ stunner has covered an indicated 66,130 miles from new and has covered approximately 4,000 miles since the restoration. The LJ is also supplied with NOS log books and owners manual, a Holden Historical Services Verification letter of Authenticity plus the receipts for the engine and transmission rebuilds. 

The LJ is riding on the original GTR wheels with new red walled tyres. The GTR features a set of 4 fully restored chrome dress rims. In the boot is an XU-1 fuel tank, boot mat and spare wheel with red walled tyre.

Hugely popular amongst Australian car enthusiasts due to its David and Goliath win in the wet in the 1972 Hardie-Ferodo 500 and because of the LJ Torana's link to the 'Peter Perfect'/Torana legend, this is a must for the Torana, Brock or Holden enthusiast. 

Impossible to replace for the asking price and like the brochure says, "Torana - When you're Hot, You're Hot!"

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
