For sale as part of a serious Ford Fairlane collection is this beautiful 1971 True Blue ZD Fairlane K Code. A unique colour combo Fairlane that has survived beautifully through the years.

A rare all matching numbers K code 351 2V Cleveland V8 powered Fairlane 500 optioned with the highly sort after factory 3 speed FMX T-bar automatic gearbox and factory ordered with an Ultra White painted roof. This is one of only 23 True Blue ZD Fairlanes made in 1971, adding to the desirability of this special Fairlane.

In 1971, Ford's flagship Fairlane featured the detuned GT 351 2V Cleveland known as the K Code rated at 250bhp making this a true factory built muscle bound luxury car. With only 4 known owners from new, the car has been recently repainted on the exterior only and features all new rubbers, new white walled tyres and a new exhaust system. The GT tear drop mirrors have been added as a day 2 accessory and go well with the look of the car. Inside the car is mostly original with rare Light Grey trim to compliment the Ultra White painted roof.

The engine bay and boot are both day one with all original items from the Autolite Carburettor, exhaust manifold, engine bay stickers and paint dabs through to the original boot mat and steel spare wheel. Mechanically the car runs beautifully and has been recently serviced with carby kit, new oil, filters and plugs. As with all Fairlane 500s the car features factory power steering and still retains the original mint hub caps on brand new white walled rubber.

This is Aussie built limousine elegance at its finest. A grand old Dame that has been preserved perfectly and has obviously lived a cherished life. Showing just 109,331 miles from new the car comes with the loads of receipts, registration paperwork and change of ownership receipts.
