1971 Holden Torana LC - Street Sleeper
Bare metal restored in 2019 in Chevrolet Fayence blue with a Kashmir White roof, this sleeper 1971 LC Torana is powered by a fully rebuilt red 202 motor with big cam, ported and polished heads, Yella terra roller rockers, Triple webers, MSD ignition, an Aluminium radiator with thermo fans and Pacemaker headers through to a full custom stainless exhaust. The Weber 45 DCOE carbies were overhauled in September 2023 by Track Performance Solutions and the engine was fully rebuilt in 2019 by Precision International and Gigs Performance Racing. Receipts are available. An XU-1 fuel tank has also been fitted.
Gears are swapped via a Supra 5 speed gearbox and the power goes to the black top through a shortened Borg Warner diff with 3.9:1 gear ratio and a Truetrac centre. The gearbox and diff have been serviced with all new gears, synchros, bearings and gaskets fitted. Receipts are available.
The interior is day one original and in excellent condition with only new floor carpet and seat belts added. There is some sun damage to the top of the back seat. The Tory has been fitted with an aftermarket tachometer and Oil Pressure, Volt and Oil Pressure gauges plus a timber sports steering wheel.
All the chrome, stainless and door seals are brand new. All the glass is original including the front and rear windscreens.
In the boot is a XU-1 spec fuel tank, spare wheel, tools and the battery. The Tory is riding on 15 x 6" custom wheels with Maxxis 175/55R15 and 15 x 8" on the rear with 225x50R15 Falken tyres. The 15" custom steel rims have been machined to allow the original Torana hubcaps to fit the rims.
There are heaps of parts to go with the car including the original steering wheel, radiator, a full set of wheels and suspension parts.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
