And here we have for sale a very special and rare fully restored HG GTS Monaro 308 V8 and 4 speed manual Saginaw gearbox in stunning Electra Blue Metallic with Sandalwood trim. The Monaro is factory optioned with the Bathurst fuel tank, tramp rods and was ordered with the Sidewinder stripes deleted.

Ground up no expense spared restoration completed in 2015 with engine and drive line also fully rebuilt and restored to factory specification. Fitted with the factory reconditioned Rochester carby, original inlet manifold, air cleaner with new radiator, original cast iron headers with new exhaust through to the factory spec correct manual quad exhaust. The Saginaw gearbox has been fully reconditioned with new clutch and the Brake master has also been reconditioned.

This is an all matching numbers GTS in excellent condition throughout and has been restored using as many original parts as possible. Re-trimmed interior with original steering wheel, dash, instruments and working original radio. Mint boot with original underfelt, new boot matt and spare. Comes with a photo album of all restoration works. Compliance plates have never been off the car!

The HG is fitted with new shock and rear springs (original included with the car). Comes with the original HG GTS hubcaps.

The only addition is an aftermarket mechanical temp gauge hanging below the dash that can be removed without trace if desired. Drives perfectly and is a huge people magnet with everyone wanting to have a closer look at this beauty! Nothing to spend. Just cruise and enjoy!

Showing 116,540 miles. Three owner car with current custodian since 2015 having just taken the Monaro on a 250 klm run to the Sunshine coast and it drove perfectly.
