Factory optioned with mandatory seat belts, exterior styled passenger mirror, push button Ford Superfringe radio and Bathurst 36 Gallon big tank option (1 of 1 build with these options).

This is an outstanding example of this celebrated model as evidenced by its original paint, engine bay, boot compartment and interior trim that is all day 1 in excellent condition. The vehicle has no reproduction parts. The interior from roof lining to carpets is all original.

The engine bay is factory correct to an exceptionally high standard including matching numbers 4V Cleveland 351 engine, Autolite 4300 carburettor and coil, date coded - distributor, water pump, inlet manifold and horns. Fomoco radiator, correct 40 amp red pulley email alternator and regulator. All hose lines, clamps, leads and vacuum lines are correct to ensure that the original shaker is fully operational including shaker flap.

Still retains factory engine bay stickers in addition to QC stamps in bay and boot. All panels on the vehicle are day one originals, never removed and with no rust or bog including the original GT stripes and Superroo stickers as fitted in November, 1970.

All glass is original as is the correct headlights and driving lights. The square base aerial is correct FOMOCO diecast item - not a cheap reproduction. The boot retains all factory body deadener which supports an accident free life. Also in the boot is original jack bag (with all original contents), day 1 factory big tank rubber boot mat and spare.

The undercarriage is very clean with factory markings that were applied at Broadmeadows on the production line as further evidence of the careful way in which this car has been driven over its 46 years. It has it's original green Monroe A1 shocks and factory springs.

This XY GT Falcon is as close as you can buy in 2017 to a new GT Falcon back in 1970. The engine has never been rebuilt and still has great oil pressure, not a hint of smoke, smooth and powerful just like a 351 4V Cleveland should be....having covered only 97000 miles in 47 years. Never been apart, never had the motor out - all matching numbers and rare as the proverbial rocking horse poo!

This is an exceptional vehicle that is destined for the most discerning buyer/collector that appreciates the rarity of Ford's most iconic Australian built model in breath-taking original un-restored condition.

Comes with an XY workshop and vehicle user manual. Long owner history with photo documentation and full NSW rego with period correct number plates.
