1970 XY Falcon 500 - Vermilion Fire
What a great Falcon resto project. A genuine Vermilion Fire XY Falcon 500 running a 250 6 Cylinder and 3 speed column shift auto. Located in Kingaroy, QLD.
It runs and drives perfectly so you could enjoy it as is or go to town on the Falcon and transform it into your dream Falcon GS or GT Replica.
Here we have a really good starting point. A solid 11th month 1970 Falcon 500 with a rust and damage free body, sporting an older paint job but still in definitely presentable condition.
The engine and drive train are excellent but certainly the car is wanting a nice 351 transplant.
The interior is all there with a good original dash with genuine clock, Superfringe radio and super hard to find and worth big bucks factory integrated Air Conditioning. But the seats need a re-trim in the GT basket weave and you'll need an 8,000 RPM tacho, 140 MPH speedo, oil, temp and fuel gauge cluster and a GT/GS steering wheel. All readily available through repro parts suppliers.
There is a 36 gallon fuel tank in the boot. GT driving lights up front. Good chrome that would come up well with a polish and super cool Cheviot 14x7" Performance mags with good 235x60x14 tyres.
And did I mention that the car has factory A/C fitted!!!
This is a perfect car for a home grown resto project or for someone who wants to build their dream Falcon based on a genuine Vermilion Fire factory spec'd XY Falcon.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
