1970 XW GT Falcon

Hard to find 1970 XW GT Falcon. Originally delivered in Grecian Gold and repainted by the original owner in acrylic Silver Fox in the early 1970's. Still wearing this paint to this day. According to a stat dec from the owner's family, the first owner wanted Silver Fox but the colour was unavailable so he repainted it soon after purchase.

Running the original matching numbers 4V 351 D block Cleveland, 4 speed top loader and 9" diff. This is a documented car with log books and full service history. Original family owned until 2016 and then one registered owner since.

The nearly 50 year old acrylic paint is showing some wear and tear but nil rust or major accident damage. The interior is all day one and in excellent condition including steering wheel, gauges, seats, door cards, crash pad and hood lining. Boot mat is excellent and the car has the original 12 slot spare, jack and tools.

Showing 77,758 miles this GT Falcon is mechanically perfect. The current owner, a member of a NSW GT car club proved how good it is by driving to the 2017 GT Nationals in Perth and back to Sydney.

This is a true SURVIVOR GT with documentation, known history, wonderful patina and the ability to cross this great country even at nearly 50 years of age. In our Kingsgrove, Sydney showroom. (Ref. 5210)

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
