Stunning "The Lone-O-Ranger" Orange 1971 LC Torana XU1 Bathurst Tribute.

Ground up re-build in 2010 of a factory LC Torana S as a tribute to the LC Bathurst Torana. Running a 186 six with genuine fully refurbished matching set of XU1 1.5" Strombergs, HSD Bathurst head, roller rockers, oversize pistons, Starfire rods and high capacity oil pump and genuine XU1 manifold. Gears are swapped via a M20 4 speed and 3.55 LSD Banjo.

Travelled 6,301 miles since it's rebuild. Stunning example of the LC Torana series and draws admiration from people wherever she goes. The late Harry Firth, AOM was so impressed by the build that he gladly signed his name on the glovebox and Jim Richards signed under the bonnet as it was the same as the car he raced in New Zealand in 1971.

No expense spared on maintenance. Has appeared in many National Torana magazines plus the All Holden Magazine and has impressed the various authors.

Period correct National radio and riding on a set of genuine Nibless rims, excellent caps, dress rims and tyres. Certainly the best example we have ever seen.

Original VIC number plates come with the car. Currently on NSW club registration.

Terms of sale

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
