1969 XT "GT" Falcon

Rebodied manual XT GT Falcon in Zircon Green with factory black trim. Compliance plate and radiator support JG33 number indicate the original GT provenance but the shock tower number is hard to decipher.

Mechanically the GT runs a super strong non matching numbers rebuilt 302 4V V8 Windsor bored 40 thou, with oversized valves, Edelbrock manifold, rebuilt 600 Holley, new radiator, extractors and 2" exhaust with offset mufflers and balance pipe.

The top loader gearbox has had a shift kit put through it, runs a heavy duty clutch, machined flywheel, balanced tailshaft and new unis. When the car was rebuilt the car also received a new brake master cylinder new clutch master, reconditioned front and rear brakes and new wheel bearings. The 8 1/2" diff was reconditioned. A heavy duty front sway bar was fitted, new shocks, springs, nolathane bushes, tie rod ends, ball joints and the steering box was rebuilt.

The seats have been retrimmed as per factory spec with new carpets, hoodlining, scuff plates, new rubber kit, reconditioned GT steering wheel and dash. The car runs the original Lucas Ranger driving lights and rides on widened chrome 5 slot style rims, 7" on the front and 8" rear with 3 factory GT chrome hubcaps supplied.

While not perfect, this rebodied GT runs strong, looks the goods and is an affordable Aussie muscle car that can be driven and enjoyed.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
