1969 Ford Falcon XW GTHO Rebody - Grecian Gold
Believed to have been professionally reshelled many years ago, this rare and desirable GTHO features the original running gear including the matching numbers 351 4V Windsor, factory top loader gearbox, GT tailshaft and Daytona LSD 9".
With specs including the fully refurbished matching numbers 351 4V Windsor, 780cfm Vacuum Secondary Holley carburettor, hydraulic valve lifters, revised camshaft, heavy duty alternator, alloy inlet manifold, a three-inch heavy duty tail shaft, heavier front roll bar, beefed-up coils, stiffer shocks and a new rear roll bar and 300hp running to the ground through the four-speed top-loader gearbox and a nine-inch diff the Phase 1 GTHO Falcon was nothing if not a full on race car.
To qualify for racing CAMS required the manufacturer to build a minimum number of these cars to be sold to the public as road registered vehicles. As most were not bought by Mums and Dads to do the weekly shopping or to cart the family, most Phase 1s led a less than charmed existence.
Full ownership history is known. Current 70+ year old owner is now ready to pass the GT-HO on to the next custodian. This is a rare opportunity to purchase a Falcon GT-HO at the price of a Replica. Certainly a piece of Ford motoring history and a car that you can feel relaxed owning and driving.

Terms of sale
Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
