In the 1960s and 70s Chevrolets ruled the streets. With performance models such as the Corvette and Chevelle and big block motors going all the way to 454cui, there was a performance package to suit everyone. And for 1969 the Camaro SS took design, innovation and performance to a whole new level. So its no surprise that hot rodders and restomodders have taken a shine to the 69 Camaro. Take one look at this black beauty and you'll recognise what perfection looks like!

For sale from our Sydney Showroom, in stunning Jet Black with red Napa leather trim this fully engineered custom build 69 Camaro runs a supercharged LS1 5.7 Litre V8 through a Turbo 400 auto and 9" diff taking that Chevy power to the ground down under.

Imported from the USA in 2013 the Camaro was body off rebuilt from the ground up in Australia by Paul Barakat (Barra) and completed in 2018. The Camaro has been rotisserie restored in stunning Jet Black 2 pac paint with steel bonnet with working reverse cowl, perfect chrome and stainless and set off by those big beautiful Dominator wheels tucked under the mini tubbed rear. And all tastefully set off with the RS and SS styling packages.

The LS1 5.7 litre V8 features a mechanical throttle body injection, AFI heads, Hooker Super Competition extractors and a Magna intercooled supercharger on 6 pounds of boost. Gears are swapped via the 4L60E electronically commanded evolution of the Turbo-Hydramatic 700R4 gearbox with stage 2 upgrade kit built by Craigs Automatics and rated to 600HP. Power goes to the ground through a heavy duty custom Ford 9 inch diff with coilover spring rear end. The Camaro features a custom full stainless HPC coated exhaust.

The custom interior is a work of art with a $15,000 price tag and resplendent in rich Red Napa leather contoured Recaro seats, matching door cards, custom Billet steering wheel, VHX digital and analog gauges, push button start, integrated Air-conditioning, power steering, electric windows, central locking & electric boot release, dual immobiliser, E-Stopp electric hand brake and fuel cut off, an aftermarket stereo and a collapsible tilt steering column. Did we mention there is tons on Billet?!

Braking is via front & rear Wilwood 4 piston disc brake package, a Wilwood dual circuit brake master and a Hydra boost hydraulic brake booster. The Camaro features a TCI tubular chassis with coil overs all round and a 4 link rear with mini tubs.

The Camaro rides on highly polished Dominator Wheels 18x9" front and 20x12" rears 245/40R18 Continentals at the front and 325/35ZR20 Continentals on the rear.

The Camaro has been NSW engineered and all engineering and import paperwork comes with the car.
