For sale from the Central Coast, NSW an unbelievably well preserved 22,619 mile 1966 Pontiac Bonneville Brougham.

Big is beautiful! And the 1966 Pontiac Bonneville Brougham Hardtop is a big beautiful timeless design reminiscent of the glory days of American steel. Powered by 389 cubic inches of Pontiac Excitement with 325 horsepower on tap, providing super smooth acceleration with a deep satisfying rumble from the V-8 under load.

Originally sold through Mielke Motor Co., in Seymour, Wisconsin on February 4, 1966, this Brougham has led a charmed life in the hands of the original owner up until 2016. A two owner car when imported to Australia in 2017, the Pontiac was showing only 21,400 original miles and was at the time believed to be the most correct, most original and lowest mileage '66 Pontiac Bonneville Brougham in existence.

The "YE" code 389 CID V8 motor (325 Horsepower from the factory) features the original 4 barrel intake manifold, original exhaust manifolds, original valve covers, air cleaner housing, 4 barrel carburetor, smooth T-400 Turbo Hydramatic three speed automatic transmission, factory power brakes, power steering, factory front and rear seats belts, working factory Pontiac AM radio and clock.

This is a nice dry, solid high mountain desert car finished in all original Code N-A Burgundy and Starlight Black exterior and all original Code 558 Plum Brocade cloth and faux wood grain accented luxury Brougham interior. The Dark Plum carpeting and plum vinyl headliner are original as are the matching Plum Cloth and Vinyl door panels. The dash, Pontiac steering wheel and factory gauge cluster are in perfect condition. The Plum Cloth sun visors and Dark Plum Vinyl dash pad are faultless with NO CRACKS !! Even the ORIGINAL black rubber weather stripping is still soft, supple and in GREAT condition.

Not only is this superbly presented original car, it is also well documented. All I.D. plates are in place including the Pontiac Firewall Mounted Data Plate, Pontiac driver's door pillar mounted VIN tag, a 1966 Pontiac Owners Manual, the original 1966 Pontiac Owner Protection Plan Manual, Pontiac "PROTECT-O-PLATE" warranty ID card etc.

Imported to Queensland in 2017, the car is presented for sale in what can only be described as superlative condition. This exceptional iconic American highway super cruiser is now showing just 22,619 miles from new. Riding on brand new Maxxis 215x70R14 white wall tyres with the original spare in the boot plus another brand new White wall tyre that can be fitted if required. There is also an original boot mat, tools and the car comes with an original 1966 Pontiac sales brochure.

All chrome is brilliant and all original as are the hubcaps and wheel spats. The glass is all original and in excellent condition as are the window felts. In fact, there is not a rattle or any wind noise when driving this beast.

The car drives beautifully, smooth, powerful and effortless on the road.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
