Fully restored, Sauterne Gold/Ivy Gold '66 Futura Sports Coupe running the all matching numbers 289 Challenger V8 (200HP), 4 speed top loader and 9" diff. Rust and damage free car, beautifully restored throughout in 2011. Driveline rebuilt with mild cam, Edelbrock intake and 650 carby and extractors. Factory power steering and fully functioning A/C (see photos). New Pedder front springs, upper control arms, ball joints & spring saddles, Koni shocks all round, XB GT front Disc brakes, XY GT Falcon 5 leaf rear leaf springs, new factory brake booster and master cylinder, new twin 2 1/4 exhaust and mufflers. GT period steering wheel. 15x7" Crager wheels. Imported to Australia in 2012 with all import paperwork. Original owners manual and purchase paperwork from 1966. Custom made car cover. NSW club rego. Body:
All the panels line up well with right gaps all around and no signs of damage or rust. The body looks great with only a few very small imperfections. All the glass looks great without any marks or blemishes. All the bright trims and bumpers are in great condition. The Chrome shows very well without any flaws or dents and mirror finish. I will say this is; "Rust-Free" all of the common places are completely clear of any signs of rust and all the floors are solid and original. No repairs to be found on this car.
Interior:
It's in perfect condition having been recently replaced with all the original coverings and door skins. looks brand new. The dash and instrument panel are all in Tip Top order and condition. The original Stereo is still in place. No modifications to be seen anywhere. All the seats are in perfect condition. All the door-panels are in perfect condition. all armrests and handles (new) are in place and fully functional with ashtrays. Carpet shows up very nice with no marks or signs of age. All the windows operate flawlessly from open to close. I have installed an aftermarket stereo in the glove box and hidden speakers in the boot/backseat.
Engine & Trans:
The 289 V8 block is original and sounds to be nice and tight with a mild cam. Fitted with an Edelbrock intake and 650 Carb. Extractors. Equipped with factory original power steering that operates very well without any play or signs of wear. Motor has recently been tuned after fitting Carb and intake.
This coupe has the Factory 4-Speed Manual Top Loader box in place. Not too many of these with Factory 4-Speed getting around. It has the original and cool curved shifter and lock out reverse. The Top-Loader works a treat; changes nicely without any noises. No leaks and nice clean fluids.
Other Bits:
Additional work recently undertaken; New Pedder front springs. Upper control arms, ball joints & spring saddles, Koni Shocks all round, front Disc brakes, GT falcon suspension, Genuine period Air-conditioning Evaporator and fully functioning A/c, new factory brake booster and master cylinder, new twin 2 1/4 exhaust and mufflers, GT period steering wheel, 9' Diff was fully overhauled and refurbished. New rear spring bushes. new uni-joints. New rear drum brake shoes and spring sets and have been recently over-hauled.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
