Specifications:
Headlight buckets were cut back and type 1 headlight buckets were installed along with Porsche fluted lenses. Headlights are custom dual bulb HD and Halogen units. With the click of the floor mounted high beam button, you can switch from HD to Halogen bulbs!
Front Suspension: 5.5" custom narrowed beam with welded in adjusters w/o shock towers and custom narrowed sway bar (rides incredibly nice for a lowered VW .... Not like a stock suspension, but dam close).
Rear Suspension: Lowered 3 clicks out back with notched spring plates and gone are the stock bump stops ..... rides real nice and actually has some decent suspension travel given its lowered stance.
Pan is solid with only a few minor imperfections (dam speed bumps!) but there is no rot, rust or holes.
Custom torsion covers with the VW emblem stamped on them ..... another nice custom touch.
Front brakes are handled via Wide-5, CB Performance disc brakes with cross drilled and slotted rotors and dual circuit master cylinder (stops on a dime and gives you change). Rear brakes are stock drums with brand new cylinders.
Engine: Engine is a stock dual port 1600, single pict 34 carb, 12 Volt electrics with electronic ignition (no points) and an EMP (Euro GT exhaust system .. (sounds really nice and throaty) ... it has really good power and always serviced timely. Valve adjustments every other oil change ... etc ... etc... It cruises very nicely at 65 MPH all day ... you can push it to 70 or 75 mph very easily, but why? Has a brand new Optima Red Top Battery.
Transaxle: Shifts smooth. No popping out of any gears.
Interior: Interior is very clean and presentable. White vinyl seats, door cards and all accessories are in excellent shape. Headliner is in excellent shape with no rips or tears whatsoever. The black carpet is in excellent shape and it also has bik/red coco floor mats. It has a very rare Speedwell wooden steering wheel (not cheap). Newer type radio with Cd and removable faceplate and 6-1/2" speakers in the rear interior quarter panels.
It has a 13" EMP! Short shifter with a custom gearshift know with the Karman Ghia emblem cast into it. It comes equipped with 4 seatbelts (lap only).
All electrical is in working order with the exception of the windshield wipers and clock ... they are present but don't work due to the 12 volt conversion (there were originally 6 volt).
Wheels: it is currently sitting on 17" detailed Excra's with new 205/40/17 rubber all around. Two tone red and black powder coated 15" smoothies with 135's on the front and 195/60's in the rear with white wall inserts and Chrome Big Logo VW hubcaps are in really good shape.
