The 15th GT Nationals was held this weekend the 25th - 28th April over the Anzac Day Long weekend at the home of Australian Muscle cars - Mount Panorama, Bathurst. Hosted by the NSW GT Owners Club, it was a spectacular event with more than 450 GT Falcons entered from all over the country in every shape, colour, trim, engine, transmission and option combination you could imagine. Enjoy the photos.
The 15th GT Nationals provided a great opportunity to see a huge selection of every model of the famous GT Falcon from XR to FG. It also provided an opportunity to see examples of factory original unrestored cars, maintained cars, highly modified cars, genuine race cars and also spectacularly restored GTs. It was also an opportunity to see some race legends including Fred and Christine Gibson, Steve Masterton and drag racer Larry Ormsby. And also an amazing opportunity to speak to enthusiasts young and old including a few who have owned their cars since new. A great event and a top job by the NSW GT Owners Club.
I'm sure AMCS is not alone in looking forward to the next GT Nationals in 2015.
