James and Amanda took possession of their dream car - The Starlight Blue XW GT - back in June 2011 after spending the afternoon at the AMCS showroom in Sydney. Here is their story with the car since their purchase.

After purchasing the car through AMCS and transporting the car back to Victoria then doing some work to return the GT to the road, and many many hours of cleaning and polishing the car is looking fantastic.

James said, “There is nothing better than cruising around in an iconic Australian built Muscle Car. The car draws a crowd wherever we go and is a real head turner. I love the whole feel of the deep rumble and shake you get driving the GT. I don’t even bother with the radio as just listening to the engine is all the entertainment I need. The GT drives fantastic and there’s always plenty of power in reserve, just in case it is called on!”

The GT has travelled around the Victorian coastline as well as stopping at the Ford Factory and the Ford Discovery Centre in Geelong for a photo session.
