New owner of the Grecian gold XW GT Paul has commissioned AMCS to ensure the car is ready for his long drive back to Perth and Scott's XY GT Replica is in the fitting up stage now on the road to completion.

Paul who recently bought this very original Grecian gold XW GT in Sydney has enlisted the help of the AMCS resto team to make sure the car is ready for the adventure of his cross Australia drive. AMCS rebuilt the front end suspension, reset the springs, rebuilt the brakes and brake booster. The engine was fully serviced, radiator flushed and the AMCS crew returned the engine bay to original factory look after removing the 80s modifications including all the chrome. AMCS also installed a working underdash A/C system to ensure the drive across the Nullabor is done in airconditioned comfort. The factory superfringe radio was reinstalled and a rear venetian blind fitted. In addition a new exhaust system has been installed.

Scott's XY GT Replica is now back from the paint shop and the AMCS team are busy fitting the car up. The glass has been installed and the chrome moulds around the doors and gutter rails plus the hood lining fitted. A stock XY GT interior is being retrimmed and will soon be ready for fitment. Chrome is back and is also being fitted. Can't wait to see the stripes on the car and the Globe wheels. This is going to be a great looking Bold Blue XY GT Falcon Replica.
