Around the shed

Join us for another trip 'round the shed. We're working on some pretty nice projects at the moment amd now have a dedicated panel shop doing our work. So if you need show quality resto work turned around quickly, give us a call on 02 9967 0220. We'll be glad to quote your job.

Whats happening 'round the shed?

Jason's Sandstone beige XB GT Coupe has had the boot blasted and some rust repair is underway. New doors were sourced and are being repaired. The radiator support has been grafted back onto the car with all the original spot welds replicated. It is now starting to look like a car again.

The Candy Apple XW GT Falcon has had the seat rails removed and repaired. The inner and outer sill panels have been replaced and the doors have been rust repaired, high filled and are ready for blocking and painting. All this has been done at a mind boggling pace at AMCS new dedicated panel and paint workshop.

Wayne's beautiful RPO 83 XA GT Coupe received a power steering system with correctly serviced pump, fittings and steering box which were all dismantled and rebuilt before being installed. We also replaced the indicator return switch and rewired the harness to get everything working properly.

Have a look at the exhaust on Mark's XC Cobra replica. Mark has requested perfection so the underneath needs to be as clean as the top. The car was dismantled and sent to the panel shop. The engine was meticulously masked before it was transported to the paint shop to be undercoated in primer then 2 packed in bold blue (same as the Cobra stripes). This was also done to the high performance Mark Williams tail shaft. A set of Recaro seats were sourced and will need to be retrimmed in the original black material of the first 30 Cobras.

Scott's XY GT Replica has been rubbed back and is ready to be flow coated this week. We should see the black outs completed this week as well before it is sent back to AMCS for assembly.

Big Bill's awesome heavily optioned Apollo blue XB GT Coupe is in getting a brake overhaul. With factory sunroof, eight track and A/C, this is one stunning car.

Brian's E31 Pacer has had the brake calipers completely overhauled, blasted, painted and re-adonised before being re-assembled and installed on the car.

Well that is it for this week.

Feel free to call us to discuss you dream resto project.

And enjoy your muscle car this weekend!
