We have had a lot of interest from customers who want to build more streetable daily drivers from their Aussie Muscle cars. For example, the new owner of the XA GT RPO 83 Coupe wants the car as an everyday driver. So power steering, A/C and some other mod cons will be going into this classic. So whats been on?

Work on the VC Brocky is finished and the car is transported to its eager owner in Melbourne.

Work continues on the XC Cobra with the hand brake lines manufactured and dummy fitted including making and welding all associated bracketry ensuring a perfect fit before it is sent to the exhaust shop for a full polished stainless 3" system, 22" polished stainless Magnaflo mufflers with the exit pipes to be 2.5" for that original look.

Con has sourced the 3" stainless pipe and has started the laborious task of polishing which has already taken a full day to get them perfect before being sent to the exhaust shop for fitment and welding.

The Candy Apple red XW GT has begun its resurrection. All parts have been sent to powder coating and zincing. The engine has been rebuilt, assembled and two packed (stay tuned for photos). This car will end up another beautiful example of Australian motoring history being saved from its current sorry state as the bodywork photos show. All rusted sections have been removed and regrafted with new panels including inner and outer bottom quarter panels, inner and outer sill sections etc. No stone left unturned to ensure a concourse finish. This car has a very special unrestored original interior including immaculate seats and door trims.

The Sandstone XB GT Coupe has undergone major work to the quarters and roof and is now under highfill. A replacement radiator support has been found and will be sent to the sand blasters before carefully being grafted onto the car. Then its time to put her on the rotisserie for the treatment of the floor sections in preperation for paint.

The Yellow Fire RPO coupe has come in for some tender loving care. This is a very special car - perhaps the highest optioned RPO built and unique in that it is fitted with a genuine FORD Racing Phase 4 engine which was once fitted to Bruce Hodgson’s XA GT racing coupe.

The owner has asked us to provide him with a car that is super reliable, easy to drive and able to cross the Nullarbor. The car will be run up on a dyno before we pull engine and gearbox out for a full rebuild.

The customer has requested the factory A/C be fully operational, and the fitment of an original style power steering system.
