This car has recently been logged by CAMS. This is a genuine Group NC race car. This is the real deal and not a replica. The car was logged new by Byrt Ford, Wollongong in September 1970. After extensive research the original application paperwork was found and after nearly two years of dedication by a number of people associated with the car it was finally re-logged in November 2010.

This is possibly a once in a life time opportunity to purchase a fully restored genuine Bathurst race car. This is 1 of the 14 GTHO's that raced at Bathurst in 1970 and is one of a few left in existence and possibly the only one for sale. The car was a Byrt Ford, Wollongong, entrant driven by Gary Rush and Martin Chenery.

This car has been fully restored over three years and was completed in 2007. This car is 100% authentic and period correct including registration plates and roll cage with harness. Motor has been fully rebuilt, gear box has all new parts and diff has been fully rebuilt with a locker with 3.25 ratios. Every moving part in the car has been rebuilt. The only non standard part on the car, even though period correct is the stainless steel exhaust system for long life. The spare tyre is an aqua jet with perfect tread. No rust, original interior and trim. 70,300 original miles.

It is fully street registered and has driven only 2100 miles since completion.
