This is a wonderful investment and regretful sale. The car is a perfect “Race of Champions” time capsule complete with every item of its unique and valuable history preserved.

The complete history on the car is documented from day one, but rather than recount everything single thing that comes with the car, it is well documented in at least six major magazine stories and you can read six pages in issue no 32 of Australian Muscle Car magazine.

In addition to the perfect tyres on the car it also comes with the original 5 Wild Cat tyres that it actually raced on complete with pit lane chalk marks etc.

All documentation signed by Harvey and Brock is framed. It has a magnificent fitted tailor made HDT car cover from new, DVD of the actual race with commentary by Jackie Stewart, framed photographs of Dick Johnson with the car and driving the car in 1980 during the race and being reunited with the car three years ago at Eastern Creek.

The original photos taken while racing in 1980 are framed, as is a shirt signed by Brock and far too much more to mention. Also a 1980 Race helmet signed by Dick Johnson and the car is also signed by DJ.

It is really in stunning immaculate condition even the clock keeps perfect time and it has two metal "sandwich" story boards for when the car is on show. I could not get all the information onto one board ... hence all four sides tell different aspects of the car's history. The car has been owned by only two others both who treated it like a baby.
