This 1973 Challenger was treated to a recent quality restoration. The body is all steel, arrow straight with very nice panel fit. It was completely stripped to the bare metal. The paint was refinished to an excellent high quality base/clear urethane. There are new chrome bumpers and trim, the gorgeous painted striping was added, and front grill is excellent, glass windshield is tinted etc.

The interior has been mostly redone and is in good condition thru-out. The engine compartment is very nicely detailed. The chassis is awesome one the best rock solid. A few areas of the floor were removed, double patched & undercoated. Trunk is detailed as well , but no spare or jack.

The Mechanicals: The heart of this 1973 Challenger is its freshly rebuilt, highly modified 440 V8. Heads are 906, date codes are 6 1 7 and 05 17 7. They were hot tanked, media blasted, bowl ported & polished, 3 angle valve job with hardened exhaust seats for unleaded fuel. New 2.14 1.81 valves, heavy springs compliment the new COMP hydraulic flat tappet cam with the following specs. Valve lift .507/.510, duration lift 284/296, heads were machined for positive valve seal & new seals installed...new locks & retainers..milled .010 & intake side corrected...block is a 1968 , vatted, new cam bearings, plugged & pressure tested ..bored .030 over, new pistons, rings, rods etc. Full dual exhaust system.

This Challenger has had all systems completely gone thru mechanically and everything was either rebuilt or replaced. It is totally road proven and is driven, not trailered. This is a very sweet quality hi-performance muscle-car that runs and drives as good as new but with a tad MO POWER.
