Found in a container in Darwin in 2007, the car has been fully restored by our team, and now being offered for sale.

Restoration process:

Down to bare shell. Onto the rotiserie. Down to metal and all repairs carried out in preparation for paint. Fortunately a very clean shell to start with seeing minimal graft work necessary. All original panels intact. Original radiator support with factory markings in 100% condition! Back from the paint shop and ready for assembly. Roof lining in. Wiring loom in. Components rebuilt and detailed. Retrimmed, dash and guages restored and recalibrated. Steering wheel restored. Sunroof reinstalled with new cables. Painstaking assembly and attention to detail. Fitout complete.

A stunning example of the famous XW GT. Originally sold in April 1970 through Fairway Ford in Adelaide as one of 6 special order sunroof silverfox cars ordered by the dealer.
